Speaking of Zen Pinball, guess who has a new table out today. Zen Studios' first two add-on tables for their excellent Playstation 3 pinball game were Ninja Gaiden and Street Fighter. I was worried the next one was going to be a Tekken table or some such thing. Fortunately, it's Earth Defense! And I didn't just put that exclamation point there as a signifier of my own enthusiasm. It's actually included!

In Earth Defense, hordes of hostile aliens are attacking the planet, and it's up to you to lead the united forces of Earth against the gigantic Flip-Bot and its minions. The fate of the world is in your hands! As the captain of the Earth Defense Special Forces, it will be your mission to rally the defense and rid Pinball City of the alien invaders, using multiple ball modes, drop targets, spiral flytowers, bonus multipliers and much more.

The Earth Defense! table includes a giant animated robot with an LED face, flying saucers, panicked civilians, and a green plastic army man with a bazooka. Perfect!
