

Empire: Total War developers Creative Assembly have finally released their overdue multiplayer support for the game's campaign mode. Sort of. It's a beta. It only works for two players at a time. You have to sign up for something called Sega Pass. You're still playing against the terrible AI for the most part. And it doesn't disable their incessant attempts to nickel-and-dime you by selling new units on Steam.
