Today is Veterans Day in the United States. Elsewhere around the world, it's Armistice Day in remembrance of the end of World War I. Whatever you call it, it's a day to honor the men and women who serve their countries by joining the military.
Videogaming and the military have always had a sort of co-dependence. So much of videogaming is about military pursuits. And the military even uses videogames as a recruitment tool. Of course, most military folks are also the ideal demographic for videogaming. You're all my kind of people!
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the Americans who have joined the armed forces to defend this country's values. The work you do and the sacrifices you've made are precious. This has been particularly true in recent years. I hope I'll never again see the demands placed on you that you currently face.
