Native Americans and AI fixes come to Empire: Total War

If you feel like paying Creative Assembly another ten bucks, now you can download the Warpath add-on campaign for Empire: Total War. It adds Native American factions with unique abilities battling it out on a map of America. However, if you're only inclined to pay Creative Assembly another $2.50, you can just get the bonus pack that now includes a few more tweaked units, playable in the single player campaign. For instance, the USS Constitution up there.

However, if you don't feel like paying Creative Assembly anything at all because you remember the return on your investment when you bought Empire: Total War eight months ago, you can check out the latest patch for free to see how the game is coming along. Once again, AI fixes are among the patch notes.

You know, the Special Forces Edition on Steam was a palpably bad deal from the beginning (I gather the retail version had some physical extras to compensate for the $20 extra you were expected to pay), but the fact that you can now buy everything that edition included on Steam and then some for all of $2.50 must be salt in the wounds for anyone who actually shelled out that kind of cash.
