Ubisoft's series of short films promoting Assassin's Creed 2 has begun. Above is the first episode in Assassin's Creed: Lineage. It's a four minute short that takes fifteen minutes to watch because of all the slow motion. Be sure to stick around for the ending if you want to see the relevance to the actual game. Protip: the main character's name in Assassin's Creed 2 is Enzio.

To me, the far more interesting bit of Assassin's Creed short filmmaking is this teaser for an animated short based on the original game. It starts out looking like a Photoshop tutorial, but stick with it.
