Look, Sony, I know you've had a rough time of it. I say this as one of the mean kids who's taken his turn picking on you. But you've made it easy for us. Playstation 3 bashing has long been a co-dependent endeavor. But we're just starting to break out of the cycle. You've had some great games, some solid hardware revisions, some exciting holiday release buzz. It's been good lately, right?

So when you unveiled the final model of next year's motion controller, which was a pleasant surprise at E3, I hope that pink ball on top was just a protective cover you forgot to take off. That's not really going to be on there, is it? You're so close to getting it just right. I couldn't care less if it handles like a Wii-mote. That's actually a good thing. But I guarantee you're in for a world of ridicule if you don't de-Kirby that thing pronto.
