Monopoly leads to shocking incident of violence in Detroit
If you're ever in Detroit and this man asks you to play Monopoly, proceed with extreme caution. Kenneth Anthony Repke is not a patient man. Particularly when he wants Boardwalk and Park Place. During a recent game, one of Mr. Repke's neighbors made the following call to 911:Yes, I was at my neighbors house. And we were playing Monopoly. And he hit me. He slapped me and knocked my glasses off my face.
Mr. Repke was later arrested. Lt. Dan Kolke offers more detail on the incident:The male subject, who is the friend, asked to buy Boardwalk and Park Place. She refused. He got angry and slapped her on the side of the head, knocking her glasses off and knocking her to the ground.
