In the future, you will play Super Monkey Ball with your feet

The moment I stepped on a Wii Balance Board, I knew this was going to happen sooner or later.

The loveable characters from the original Super Monkey Ball™, AiAi, MeeMee, GonGon and Baby, are back with all new mind-blowing puzzles and party games specifically designed to fully utilize the Wii Balance Board™ accessory and the Wii Remote™ and Nunchuk™. Currently in development at SEGA Studios Japan, Super Monkey Ball Step & Roll adds a dynamic level of interactive gameplay with the use of the Wii Balance Board while still remaining true to the original franchise with zany level design.
I mean, duh. What took you guys so long?

Unfortunately, I always felt the trey-tilting/ball-rolling parts of the Super Monkey Ball games were the weakest part. They were game tax I had to pay to unlock awesome minigames such as Super Monkey Ball Minigolf and long-time crowd favorite Super Monkey Ball Target Hang Gliding.

But don't mind me. If you're going to make a trey-tilting/ball-rolling game, there are millions of casual gamers with Wii Balance Boards in their closets because they got sick of Wii Fit after a week. Many of them might not yet know that trey-tilting/ball-rolling games are tedious. As for me, I'm just in it for the the hang gliding. Sega, please don't make me dig my Wii Balance Board out of the closet to unlock the hang gliding.

Super Monkey Ball Step & Roll will be out in 2010. You're up next, Marble Madness!

awesome. I don't know how many nights we all sat around playing the hang gliding ones.
Luckely I had friends that would take the time to unlock everything so I only toyed w/ the single player once.
