Xbox 360 players pwn Playstation 3 players at Battlefield 1943

Wow, it looks like the people who play Battlefield 1943 on the Playstation 3 aren't very good at the game. They've only accumulated half as many kills as their Xbox 360 counterparts, who just unlocked the Coral Sea map by accumulating 43 million frags.

After the official countdown began last Friday, July 10 at 19:43 CEST, the Xbox Live community reached the goal of 43M kills in just five days and have been rewarded with the new map that features the exclusive game mode called Air Superiority. Now when players go to play the game they will be offered a new option in the main menu titled "Play Air Superiority." Also available on PlayStation Network, the Battlefield 1943 community on PlayStation 3 is over the 22M mark.
I suspect it has something to do with lag on the Playstation Network, or maybe it's an issue with the Playstation controller not working very well for shooters. Of course, it could be an inherent lack of skill from Playstation 3 owners not having very many good games to practice with, or maybe they're too busy trying to get Noby Noby Boy to Jupiter. Whatever the case, unless they get discouraged and quit, the Playstation 3 should get the Coral Sea map in about a week.
