Starting today, the following classic Lucasarts games will be available on Steam.Indiana Jones® and the Fate of Atlantis
This is excellent news because, well...actually, hold on a second. Would it be weird to confess that I had a mad crush on Sophia Hapgood from Fate of Atlantis? It would. Okay, never mind. Let's move on, shall we?
Indiana Jones® and the Last Crusade: The Graphic Adventure
LEGO® Indiana Jones: The Original Adventure
LOOM™
The Dig®
Also available are a handful of, uh, not quite classics.Star Wars Battlefront® II
The really good news is that Lucasarts has made it clear this is just the first round. So there's no immediate need for the obvious "Hey what about {insert Full Throttle or the name of your favorite X-Wing, TIE Fighter, or Jedi Knight game here}?"
Star Wars Republic Commando®
Star Wars Starfighter™
Armed and Dangerous™
Thrillville®: Off the Rails™
Conspicuously absent is any reference to the price of the games, which probably means Lucasarts intentionally didn't mention it so guys like me couldn't kvetch about what we think is too high a price point. In other words, I'm guessing $20 a game, but with some sort of package deal available.
UPDATE: I'm happy to see I'm wrong! The older games are a must-have $5 each. Here I come, Sophia!

obligatory 'Hey what about Dark Forces?' Not that I'd actually pay $20 for an old DOS game, regardless of the nostalgic value.

Love LOOM!!!

Why did you mention Tie-Fighter....thats all I can think of now!

Sophia Hapgood also appears in the execrable Infernal Machine. So if you really love her, you'll go through hell for some clumsily rendered cut scenes!

Oh, how I'd love to go back through The Dig or LOOM.
Not for $20, though. Lucas should take a page from GOG.

Grim Fandango, where art thou?

Oh god, I've always wanted to play The Dig, now I have no excuse.

Specifically, LucasArts should have done this -on- GoG. And Republic Commando's pretty awesome, actually. Not as awesome as the old adventures, but pretty awesome.

I would sell my first born to play The Secret of Monkey Island again.

A "re-imagined" version of Monkey Island is available for Windows users, soul-crushing.

I actually didn't mind Armed and Dangerous. It was a fairly by-the-numbers shooter, but it was brilliantly funny.
