It's been announced for a while that Burn Zombie Burn is getting downloadable content called In Space, but now there are a some specifics available at the Playstation blog here. Also, part way through this podcast from the developers, one of the artists talks at length about the new levels, which you can see in the video above. The idea is that the downloadable content is an extension beyond the sci-fi lab at the end of the core game. From there, you're on an alien space ship, with one level in the engine room and another level on the bridge, which has a lot of challenging narrow passageways and a shifting set-up.

The In Space DLC doesn't seem to have any new weapons or zombies, but there will be new modes that apply to all the game's maps. Furthermore, I've been told that there is more DLC on the way after In Space.

The developers of Burn Zombie Burn, a Playstation 3 exclusive, are also working on a South Park-themed tower defense game for the Xbox 360 called South Park Let's Go Tower Defense Play!
