Fantasy strategy game Hinterland is racist against orcs
The fantasy strategy game Hinterland (not pictured*) just got a free add-on which puts orcs into the game as a playable faction. However, the game perpetuates various stereotypes about orcs. According to the press release:Orcs level faster, are generally better fighters, and can eat whatever they kill! But they also require more food, and produce items more slowly.

I really admire the design ideas behind Hinterland, coupling the town building, and party nurturing with exploration and hack and slash action. The one thing that sticks out as a major hindrance to me, is the very fastidious attack mechanism. You need almost pixel perfect selection on moving targets to be able to initiate an attack - if this could be relaxed somewhat, it would be a whole lot more enjoyable.

I also have a lot of fun playing this game. It's really easy to play for a half an hour or for several hours.
Plus someone in the forums figured out a way to back the camera up just a little, which made playing with ranged weapons a lot easier. Anyway, well worth $20
