So the first downloadable content for the naval action game Battlestations Pacific is out today and it consists of...what? New ships? New planes? A nifty new submarine? Maybe some new single-player missions? Maybe additional resources you can capture in the multiplayer games to give your side a bonus? Nope. It's just two new maps. Because there's nothing to add spice to a naval combat game like a new map of some water.
The Volcano Map Pack, which is available today for the Xbox 360 and will be available for the PC on June 25th, costs 560 Microsoft Points. I don't have a slide rule handy to calculate what that is in real world dollars, but I can tell you it's way more than you should have to pay for a pair of maps.
