Hey, look, it's more info on Zombie Apocalypse. These days, that's about as generic a name as you could come up with. You might as well make a shooter called Shooter or an RPG called Role-Playing Game. Still, there really isn't a pure and simple zombie version of Robotron, which seems to be the idea:Our goal was to produce a pure arcade shooter, rooted in dual-stick classics such as Robotron: 2084 and Smash TV. We knew it had to be pick-up-and-play, gory party-game fun, but still deep enough and tense enough to stand among its forbearers. We knew multiplayer was a key feature in a game of this type, so we pushed hard to get four-player online co-op integrated from the start.

Pictured above is the cast of characters. Upon seeing them, tell me this isn't exactly what you thought: "Hey, it's Louis, Zoe, Francis, and Bill!"
However, as you may have guessed, that's not Zoe. Instead, it is...Natalie Flores, our tough but mentally-unstable female lead. A bartender with no customers left alive to serve double shots to, she's content to serve up plenty of double-ought shots to zombies.
Oh dear. Is it going to be like this in the game? Still, a zombie apocalypse game is like pizza, or sex; even when it's bad... Wait, wait, I'm not going to go there.
Don't be fooled by the fact this this is written up on the Playstation Blog. Later this year, it'll be released as a download for both the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
