I have seen the future of Fable II and it is...a new dog! Pictured!

In the "See the Future" downloadable content available now, you can buy a potion that will turn your dog into a bloodhound, husky, or Dalmatian. Note that you're not trading in your dog. That would be awful. Who would trade in a dog? Instead, you're just magically making him look like a different dog. But, bless his little canine heart, he's the same dog underneath.

There are also other doo-dads and four new quests. The title, "See the Future", apparently refers to some sort of closing cinematic that hints at the future of the Fable franchise. Spoiler: it's going to be an MMO. Actually, that's just a guess, but I put "spoiler" there in case I was right.

Kotaku played it already and here's a list of the new achievements. And just to keep you confused, the price of the Fable II downloadable content is 560 Microsoft points, which is either about five dollars or about fifty dollars, depending on whether I carried the six correctly.
