If you were watching a sports program called "the NBA Eastern Conference finals game" over the holiday weekend, you might have seen the above two-minute commercial for the next Call of Duty, which isn't even a Call of Duty anymore, but is instead a Modern Warfare, as per the rebranding. The sequel to Call of Duty 4 is obviously drawing from some of that game's events and characters. It's currently in development at Infinity Ward and will either be released on November 10 or October 11. I get confused by the whole 11-10-09 release date and wonder if they're arranging it in a European manner just to line up the numbers that way. (My intern has just handed me a note telling me that it's November 10th.)
The action-packed trailer is all good and well, Activision, but you had me at "Infinity Ward".

The music at the beginning is on the Transformers 2 trailer. Is that an actual song or like a soundtrack... track?

Another tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

Tom,
The release is 11-10-09. It's given at the end of the linked video.

Ah, good, so it's October 11th after all. I'll be sure to mark that on my calendar. Cheers, Weebork!

So, I may be the only reader of this blog who can't answer the question himself...was the original so...ludicrous in its choreography?
By Neuromancer at 5:56 PM ON 05/27/09
No, Marty, no it wasn't. IW has gotten progressively more ridiculous. I wonder if there will be a rap at the end of this game too?

Right, 11-10-09. Eleventh day, tenth month, 2009. I've got it marked down for October 11th. I can't wait!
