Some folks at the site MMO Champion managed to dig up the World of Warcraft pet that'll be handed out to attendees of this summer's BlizzCon. They apparently found him among the files you download when you play on a test server. The little dude is a murloc with an assault rifle. How does he fit into the game's mythology? And how does a murloc know how to handle firearms? I'm guessing the dranei have something to do with it.

If you're not going to BlizzCon this year, 1up says you can still get your pet murloc anachronism by paying to watch BlizzCon on DirectTV.
