Sometimes Fidgit breaks a little bit
Not only was yesterday Earth Day, but it was also Technical Issues Wednesday, which is sort of like Casual Friday, but less fun. You'll be glad to know there were no injuries. However, any comments left during the day were swallowed up forever. I'm not sorry to see this happen to the handful of "u r a terd" messages added to the growing repository underneath the Killzone 2 review, but I really hate that some of you guys had clever things to say, helpful corrections, or just thoughtful comments that are now gone forever. Apologies.
Also, a quick note to those of you dissuaded by the random letters you have to type to authenticate your message (aka CAPTCHA phrases). After you've typed your reply, assuming it's longer than "u r a terd", you'll often find the random letters have timed out and they won't "take". If you hit F5 to refresh your browser, it won't make your comments vanish. So feel free to type away as long as you like. Then just hit F5, type the CAPTCHA, and you're good to go. We promise we'll try not to let Technical Issues Wednesday happen to your comments for at least another year.

I have been trying to figure out what the frak was up with the CAPTCHA on these site, since I started posting here. At least now I know what is going on down there. Any idea how long it takes to time out the CAPTCHA?

I wish you could do away with the captcha altogether, it often says I'm wrong when I type my stuff in. A logon system would probably work better.
I know that's not your call though.

Mike, sorry if I got your comment eaten. It might be a browser specific situation? At any rate, I probably should have stipulated that a good old-fasioned CTL+A CTL+C is probably in order before taking my word for anything.
And, yeah, if I had my druthers, the CAPTCHA would be turned off. Unfortunately, I've tried that before and it results in a flood of spambot messages in literally minutes.

Well i usually do copy and paste in such situations and actually thought about it but then thought that you would never lead me into sucha trap. lol i know that isnt what you did but different versions of browsers would be to blame as i have IE version 8. which btw uses way more memory than version 7 did. every tab i open starts a new iexplore.exe process when in version 7 it always stayed at one process no matter how many tabs.
