Saw invites you to put your hand in awful places

Saw invites you to put your hand in awful places

Joystiq has a write-up on the upcoming Saw game based on a little hands-on time. Or should I say "hands-in" time?

The scene...saw us reaching our character's hand into a filthy toilet bowl filled with hypodermic syringes in order to find a key that would let us out of the room. We got an almost X-Ray style view of his arm as it moved around among the needles, a pain meter quickly filling up. If we didn't find the key before it filled up, we failed the test.
Now there's a minigame that belongs on the Wii!

Konami picked up publishing rights for the game based on the grisly horror movies after the original developer, Brash Entertainment, imploded under the weight of its own mismanagement and failed releases. Saw seems to be a series of puzzles, perfect for a casual audience except for the stuff about torture and mutilation.
