The creators of the Pixel Junk games, Q-Games, are apparently at a loss for words. So they've invited you to click through a quick run-down of their new game, which includes a minute-long video. Then submit your idea for a name.
Kotaku has a write-up apparently based on some hands-on time. This little shooting/exploring/lava quenching/picking-up-little-guys game is due out this summer and it looks like yet another feather in the Playstation 3's cap.

Reminds me of a mash up all sorts of 80s console and PC games: the rescue aspect of Defender, the "dynamic terrain" of Scorched Earth, Flying through caves, reminds of something more accurate than Dig Dugg but I'm drawing a blank.

This game looks excellent. Just the look of it - like Gravitar mixed with Patapon, perhaps a little Worms, with fluid dynamics and ... cool micro 2D shooter stuff.

The game looks good, its got a bit of like an asteroids things going with the ship. It looks like it might be more about the saving the little guys so i would go with something like the guardian, or maybe something with a more retro feel. I still think pixel junk monsters is the greatest game ever made.
