Mike "MazeGuy" Perrucci has discovered and posted footage of a rare unreleased NES game that should disabuse you of any nostalgia about the good old days. Those of us who were gamers back them will recognize the punishing difficulty level in the footage Mr. Perrucci discovered. Fortunately, this game was never released. As Perrucci says on YouTube:
This game may have been kept off of store shelves due to its controversial title, "Hitler's Revenge". However, unlike "Bionic Commando", Hitler isn't actually IN this game. It may just be a simple translation error which was common in the mid-80s.After viewing the graphic footage, you can click here to read the whole story.

I have trouble believing that this is real. There are a number of "games" like this out there where someone took old sprites, fooled with them, and made impossible games.

I still rather play that game than fight Seth from Street Fighter 4 again...

That was fantastic. I got an actual LOL at the fellow taking a flying leap across the gap and slamming into the brick wall.
