BioShock 2 teaser site launches
There's something in the sea.
That's the conclusion someone in Ireland seems to have drawn seven years after the events of BioShock. You can see from this tantalizing viral site that includes a map, mysterious radio squaking, and the above picture of a Big Daddy doll, made from a thimble, a corkscrew,and thumb tacks. There's also a newspaper article that details the kidnapping of a young girl by some sort of thin, fast Big Daddy variant, and a tip to the police suggesting she was carried out to sea. The kidnapped girl would have been born at precisely the same time as the events of the first game, so she's not one of BioShock's Little Sisters.
The doll also figures into this teaser video, titled "Sea of Dreams". The implication there is that BioShock 2 is about what happens when the Little Sisters are rescued and left to grow up with strange powers and dreams of Rapture.
BioShock 2 is scheduled for release at the end of this year.
By the way, where can I get one of those Big Daddy ragdolls? If I can't get a Big Daddy plushie, I'll take a ragdoll model.

Ha, good point, Obon. Man, sometimes I really wish I liked Little Big Planet. It would be cool to actually enjoy all the little SackBoy variations Sony is selling!

This GENIUS game has left me amazed by the technological advancements of the gaming world. I have left my heart in the tech world, to pursue a career in rubber band ball making. On the back of my glasses, I have a techno qoute. Thanks for posting this wonderful article of truly technological FUN.

i think the little girls might be daughters of the little sisters maybe, im only 13 and only just understanding bioshock so dont know dates but all i know is that you play the first ever big daddy in 2 and your more powerful then any of the others being the prototype i just cant wait to use the drills :P
