In celebration of tomorrow's release of Dawn of War II, here's a video of a real-life Razorback, the armored personnel carrier that lets Space Marines reinforce their squads on the front line. Warhammer nerds can feel free to correct me that it's actually a Rhino in the video, in which case it's got nothing to do with Dawn of War II, because Rhinos only appear in the previous games.
Whether it's a Rhino or a Razorback, the car-killing monstrosity is the product of the UK branch of Dawn of War publisher THQ.The verdict? Modern day family cars were not built to withstand the might of the 41st Millennium.
You can read about the construction and unveiling of the behemoth here. The Razorback was built from a 15-ton British armored personnel carrier. It was created by a UK group called Tanks-A-Lot, which offers services like tank limos, corporate tank driving, and weddings. They even offer something called the "Full Monty Tank Driving Event". I have no idea why someone would want to do this, because tanks must be uncomfortable enough with your pants on.
