Guitar Hero (and Led Zeppelin!) comes to the Commodore 64

Guitar_Hero_Commodore_64.jpgI know you're probably sick of hearing all the news that came out of the 2008 World of Commodore expo, held this past weekend in the basement of the Aderwood United Church in Toronto, but if you'll indulge me, I'd like to just pass along one more story. On display was a Commodore 64 version of Guitar Hero called Shredz64, with the following song list:

* Axel F Remix - Nantco Bakker [Difficult]
* Dreamball - Johan T. Enyedi [Easy]
* Ex State of Mind - Michal Hoffmann (Randall) [Difficult]
* Ghostbusters - Roger Duijckaerts (ReD) [Difficult]
* Hotel California - Tomas Danko [Medium]
* Lick My Guitar - Hein Holt (Hein Design) [Easy]
* Stairway Intro - Nantco Bakker [Easy]
* Supremacy - Jeroen Tel / Maniacs of Noise [Medium]
* Zak McKracken Remix - Roger Duijckaerts (ReD) [Difficult]
* Zelda Overworld (Final Version) - Sascha Zeidler (Linus) [Difficult]
Assuming "Stairway Intro" isn't a reference to the opening of some game where you go up stairs, then I have to dub this the definitive version of Guitar Hero for finally including a little Zeppelin.

You can see Shredz64 in action in the following YouTube video, with the expo in full effect in the background.

(Thanks Funkula!)
