Firearm Mounted Anti Zombie Device available for $300

Anti_Zombie_Device.jpgA fellow in Montana who identifies himself online as either "SOC" or "pfcthiel", and who has no compunction about posing in front of a Barney Fife flier, has created a "Firearm Mounted Anti Zombie Device", presumably without any knowledge of Gears of War.

He posted pictures of his gun+chainsaw combo in a thread on a gun fan site with the following text:

What stuff you guys want to see it cut? (Note: I am on a $50 budget for stuff I'm cutting)
There are also videos of his invention in action. For instance, here he gets the jump on some pumpkins (much to the delight of a nearby heavy smoker). Here he demonstrates how you can get through a locked door (provided the door is constructed from dried out balsa wood). Here he does some light yard work.

On YouTube he offers to build you a Firearm Mounted Anti Zombie Device for about $300, but I'm guessing you have to supply your own AR-15 semi ("Don't call it an assault rifle!") automatic.

Thanks Giant Bomb!

Cute, but everyone knows chainsaws are an inferior anti-zombie weapon as explained by Max Brooks in his ground breaking guide.

It's clumsy, the noise draws even more zombies, and good luck lugging around the gas it would need once you get away from the cities.

I'll stick with the time tested sword if I have to get that close.

Or how about the ar-15 it's attached to? Seriously, this guy gives marijuana a bad name. It's fun to make stuff from games when you can make it work and make it effective, not when it turns a good (if weak) rifle into a worthless club. Even though you're never going to use it, it'd be nice to THINK you could. Lol.

You guys can nay-say all you want, but you're going to be sorry when it's the zombie apocalypse and you need a stick cleanly cut from a small shrub.

I read this in an article from EGM It was an interview with an military expert an he stated that"The chainsaw gun won't really work well due to thrashing of the victim, and also to consider the gore factor which ends up with your rifle being jammed with gunk"(Shortened version of his words)

Zorn, you obviously didn't watch the YouTube demo in which the dude chainsaws a bunch of pumpkins and then demonstrates that no pumpkin guts clogged up the moving parts on the Firearm Mounted Anti Zombie Device. EGM's "military expert" just got pwned!

Sry,but i was talking about the chainsaw gun from the game not the one from the video though that would not be obvious since i did not state that in my earlier post.
