You know you've made the middle-big time when you're being protested by the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, or PETA (not to be confused with the much less confrontational pocket breads). As part of their perennial campaign to get people to not eat turkey on Thanksgiving, the animal advocacy group has posted a gruesome and mostly humorless Flash minigame titled Cooking Mama: Mama Kills Animals.
Cooking Mama does no such thing. She prepares all manner of foods, including various delicious dishes that include meat. But it's worth noting that she never eats the dishes she makes. The game, after all, isn't called Eating Mama. For all we know, Cooking Mama is a hardcore vegan who thinks honey is bee slavery. In fact, I would encourage militant vegetarians and members of PETA to purchase and enjoy a copy of Cooking Mama, which can easily be role-played as if Cooking Mama were a vegetarian.
Of course, PETA's objective is to get attention, so I guess I've just obliged them. Thanks to Griddle for passing along this story and making me a pawn of PETA.

Great, so when do we see the video of PETA nazis throwing flour on Lindsey Lohan as she goes into EB to pick up her copy of Cooking Mama?

That is just funny. I just told my daughter (she's 8) and she said she wasn't gonna play it anymore. I think it's hilarious.

Where was their outrage over Oregon Trail for the Apple II? I shot a buffalo! And squirrels! I stacked them up in my wagon and ate them!
Maybe all those times I DIED OF DYSENTERY it was not actually dysentery, but BAD KARMA.
