If you play fake rock games, you probably know "When You Were Young" by The Killers (pictured). It appears in Activision's Guitar Hero III as well as Electronic Arts' Rock Band. The Killers is one of those faithless bands that won't commit to one game or another.
On November 22th, The Killers new album, Day & Age, will be released. A few days later, tracks from that album will appear for Rock Band and Guitar Hero: World Tour. But not the same tracks. Each game will get its own "pack" of three Killers songs, including tracks from the new album. Is The Killers double dipping? Spreading the wealth? Confusing their fans? The answer is "all of the above". I expect this will become increasingly common as the music industry figures out how best to, uh, revenue share with the videogaming industry. Throwing money at big-name bands like The Beatles and AC/DC for exclusive deals will be the occasional exception to the rule.

Learn to play a real instrument.

Disregard that last sentence, it's my troll. Real instruments are for losers unless you're in a real band making real money.

My favorite thing here is the parenthetical (pictured). That made me smile.
I also love the Killers song "Read My Mind". If you must know.
