As anyone with a copy of Soulcalibur IV knows, the Playstation 3 version got Darth Vader and the Xbox 360 version got Flubber/Yoda as unique characters. This week in Japan, they're each available as downloadable content on the other systems for about five bucks each. That's right, five bucks for a single character. How's that for the power of licensing? I can't imagine anyone paying five bucks for, say, Mitsurugi or Cervantes. Especially not Voldo. To download Voldo, they'd probably have to pay you five bucks.

No word on a US date for this overpriced downloadable content, but we all knew it was coming. When it arrives, let me warn 360 owners that Darth Vader totally sucks. Here are more screenshots of what it will look like when he gets spanked by Yoda.
