Saints Row 2: a touch of lace

sr2_day_1.jpgThere's not a lot of variety at the clothes store you go to at the beginning of Saints Row 2, but I'm going to make the best of it. And this time, no purple. I hated having to wear purple to get a style bonus in the original Saints Row. I mean, come on, purple? So my new unpurpled outfit goes as follows. First, a base layer: tightie-whities, black socks, athletic shoes, and fingerless batting gloves. Then a black and Ultor Orange striped tank-top with charcoal trim. Black and white track pants with an Ultor Orange stripe to go with the tank-top. Top it off with a bandana with hearts on it (the camo is just too too tacky) and a backpack with a flower logo.

Total style points: 62. As I reach certain thresholds with my style points, I'll unlock the equivalent of an experience point bonus. Later, my style rating will get much higher with tattoos, jewelry, and customized cars. But for now, I have to make the most of my starting $500. Which brings me to the real question: Should my dude wear a bra under his clothes for the two additional style points?

I'll never tell, but I will say that Saints Row 2 will test the limits of a true min/maxer.

(Tomorrow: the car insurance company will not be happy.)
