This week, conditions are good for your wallet. You might be curious about Fracture, the new shooter that lets you move dirt into piles. But my prediction about Fracture, based on seeing it at E3 and having played those glib MechAssault games for the Xbox made by the same guys, is that this game poses a minimal threat to your wallet. Personally, I plan to spend my dirt-moving time with Populous DS next week.
Speaking of minimal wallet threat, it's that time of year again: time for another throwaway Crash Bandicoot game! True fact: one and a quarter Crash Bandicoots comes out every year. I arrived at that data point by dividing 15 (the number of Crash games) by 12 (the number of years since the series began). This Crash, subtitled Mind over Mutant, should consider itself lucky to be alive, having survived Sierra's Day of Long Knives, also known as the Activision Merger.
Finally, there are a bunch of NBA games out this week. If you're not hip to sports, I think NBA stands for the National Baseball Association. So all you duffers can get in there and sink some home runs for the Gipper!
