The biggest threat to your wallet this week is Fallout 3 (see our game diaries starting later today). Although there are plenty of other games vying for your dollar this week, this is the only one I can wholeheartedly recommend. It is the sole reason for the wallet threat level being escalated to red. If you like RPGs, you cannot miss Fallout 3.

The Playstation 3 gets a couple of high-profile exclusives with Little Big Planet, newly purged of its possible offense against Islam, and Motor Storm: Pacific Rift, a racing game that pits lots of wobbly tires against a tropical paradise. Although each game has tons of personality, they're both lacking in the gameplay department. Speaking of which, Red Alert 3 will also be out this week. It's one of the worst real time strategy games I've played in a long time.

My Sims Kingdom barely makes it to the Wii before the new Animal Crossing comes along and out-cutes it. Also, there's a game called Legendary that's notable for no longer being called Legendary: The Box. Which makes it sound like they actually decided to put a game in there instead of just selling a container.
