The second best news I've heard all day* is that Nazi zombies will be making an appearance in Call of Duty 5, the sequel by Treyarch, the developers who seem skilled at missing the point of Call of Duty. But this time, instead of the result being Call of Duty 3, the result is a game about the Pacific theater of World War II in which Nazi zombies appear. Anyone who doesn't think this is realistic needs to watch Shock Waves, the 1977 Peter Cushing documentary about the trans-oceanic capabilities of the Nazi zombie.
If you watch the video below, you can see it's a multiplayer siege mode with players banding together against waves of zombies, holding them off by running backwards and shooting and hoping they don't get hung on a wall. When a player goes down, he can only lie on the ground and take potshots with a pistol until someone revives him. This is called "ripping off Left 4 Dead" and it looks awesome enough that I actually looked up when Call of Duty 5 is coming out**.
* The first best news is a brief mention that Saints Row 3 is already in development according to a month-old interview in Play magazine.
** November 11, 2008.
