In case you're holding out on getting a Playstation 3 because you're hoping you won't need it for a Blu-Ray player once Microsoft releases their inevitable* Blu-Ray drive for the Xbox 360, you're going to have to hold out a bit longer:"As we’ve said before, Microsoft has no plans to introduce an Xbox 360 Blu-ray add-on," [Microsoft] told Edge. "Games are what drive consumers to purchase game consoles, and we remain focused on providing the largest library of blockbuster games available."
Edge suggests that Microsoft is putting their eggs in the digital distribution basket for the time being. Consider the upcoming availability of Netflix's streaming movies on Xbox Live. Hmm, I wonder if this has anything to do with Netflix adding a dollar to the cost of my subscription if I want to watch Blu-Ray movies?
* You know it. I know it. We're just waiting on Microsoft to know it.

Well MS has been wrong before and they are wrong again, if they think they don't need a blu-ray upgraded XBox they are as sadly mistaken as Bill was when he said we'll never need more than 640k memory, they are behind the eight ball and they know it but refuse to adhere to common sence or logic, I don't just buy games for my game consoles, I play all my movies on them too and we'll be buying nothing but blu-ray from now on, as for the games we'll my XBox360 is still not reading game disc's and after going through the repair proceedures one too many times i'll be sticking to my PS3 because at least it's working since i was able to fix it myself and i'll be buying all my games and movies for it, the 360 is too difficult to get into and fix and it's not worth the effort, my PS3 out performs the XBox360 in everyway and there is no membership fee's which i like the most. Good luck Billy your going to need it with the fools you got running your company.

Xbox 360 takes too long to load and picture quality can only be so/so. It needs at least 2 gigs of RAM to run the high end games. But, i am sorry to say, Bill at MS still thinks Hard drive space is memory - HAH. Hard Drive space is just storage space But RAM is for the processing of the picture, etc.
Load "Oblivion" Game on PS3 (1 BluDVD) has everything but it still lacks the speed of RAM (Chip based Memory). Load same game on 360 and the drive never stops running and after a while starts to be noisy as well as very hot. Also, since 360 does not have bludrive all prograM DISKS are maxed at 4 gigs whereas blu ray can fit up 50 gigs. I think a third party will crack the USB input and come out with external bluray for it.
