Gears of War 2 witheld from Axis powers
As further punishment for World War II, Microsoft won't let Germany or Japan have Gears of War 2. If Vichy France were still around, they wouldn't get it either. The Italians should consider themselves lucky.
At least that's my theory. The official word is that there isn't really an official word, but it sounds like the game is having problems navigating Germany's notoriously violence-squeamish ratings board and there simply aren't any plans announced yet for a Japanese release.
On a completely unrelated note, India won't get Fallout 3.

Germany has a squeamish ratings board?! i know Germany's a place of hardcore gamers. that must sux.
and wow. Japan gives us SO many of its games, and we cant make sure they get gears of war 2? this doesn't equal.
