Saints Row 2/Far Cry 2: the dangers of muscle memory

far_cry_2_fire.jpgA word of warning when you're going from having played Saints Row 2 for 40 hours to playing Far Cry 2. Trying to change weapons will make you crouch. The jump button will reload your weapon. And worst of all, the run button will throw a grenade. There's nothing quite so humiliating as letting loose with a burst of machine gun fire to district the guards at an outpost, and then intending to dash to one side to flank them, but instead throwing a grenade at your feet and running onto it right as it explodes. The guards must thing that it's some sort of suicidal protest, like Buddhist monks setting themselves on fire.

The good news is that the "get in a car" button will still get you in a car.

All of this can be resolved by playing one on the PC, and one on 360.

Well, will be able to be resolved when they actually arrive for PC.
