Here's a great way to introduce the revelation at the end of a countdown timer:We hope you haven't dedicated too much time and stress to this 12-hour long countdown event.
That's how Bungie introduced the revelation at the end of their latest "countdown event". It's almost as if they're fully aware that it's not exciting!
The short clip shows city surveillance of drop pods that come in and mess stuff up. I think. You can watch it here. As far as teaser's go, it's pretty anemic. Aren't teasers supposed to "tease" you? Anyway, I'll get excited about whatever Bungie is working on once they see fit to actually, you know, tell me about it.

It's a Halo 3 expansion.
It's set in New Mombasa, while Master Chief is off fighting the Covenant.
It takes place right after Regret's ship enters Slipspace, causing a lot of destruction to New Mombasa.
All signs point to it being based around ODSTs, with the ODST drop pods and the tagline at the end, "Prepare to drop."
Maddie is not Madeline McCann. It is probably either another AI or the controller of the AI.
The pod that falls towards the end of the video is likely the primary protagonist. It also, according to the camera timestamp, falls several minutes before the others, although this may be a issue with the internal clock of the camera due to the massive disruption caused by the Slipspace rupture.
The Superintendent is some form of city maintenance AI, as indicated by its messages and being in control of various city surveillance systems. However, it has high-level military access, as indicated by its tracking of Master Chief. As the Slipspace jump occurs, it displays the message "SIERRA 117 LOC UNK," demonstrating that it cannot follow where Master Chief has gone, as he has entered Slipspace.

Yeah, GJSDEATH is right about the expansion part becasue if you download this video on Xbox Live the description says its a new campaign expansion for Halo 3.
Lots of interesting hidden stuff along with a date in January 09 which is probably a scheduled release date or something. To be honest I was never a really big fan of Halo online but I really enjoyed the campaign portions, I will gladly dust of my Halo 3 copy to play a new campaign expansion. I cannot wait to see who the new character we will be playing as will be.
