Titled Mill announced a new mini-expansion for their Ancient Egyptian city builder, Children of the Nile. The expansion adds an Alexandria campaign consisting of three scenarios centering around the construction of the Great Lighthouse and the Library of Alexandria. Right now it's only available via Impulse, Stardock's digital delivery service.

Normally, I might kvetch a bit that Tilted Mill is charging $6 for this. But the developer has done a superlative job with post-release support for SimCity Societies and Children of the Nile, including lots of additional content and improvements, free of charge. So I can't really begrudge them the price of a caffe vanilla blended frappucchino with a two-dollar tip conspicuously put in that plastic box while the cute barista is watching.
