
The implosion of Flagship Studios was the most dramatic developer failure since Ion Storm plummeted from the penthouse suite of a Dallas skyscraper. 1up has posted an exhaustive interview with Flagship co-founder and frontman Bill Roper, who discusses the collapse of the studio, the fate of Hellgate: London, and the mistakes that were made during the development of the game. Roper goes into a lot of technical detail and it's not very encouraging reading for fans of Hellgate*, but the interview has some fascinating insight into how not to make a game.
