Sometimes even a blind squirrel will dig up an acorn. That's the adage that comes to mind when you consider a Malaysian gaming magazine printed on its cover speculation that Grand Theft Auto IV was coming to the PC. Never mind that the magazine happened to be right. We wouldn't know that until this week, when Rockstar tersely announced a November 18th release date for the PC version of Grand Theft Auto IV, teasing at "newly expanded multiplayer". Given how expansive the multiplayer already is, this can only be promising.
On other platforms, it's no secret that Rockstar is working on a Grand Theft Auto game for the Nintendo DS subtitled Chinatown Wars. The game was announced at E3 with no additional information. But Destructoid has come across the text of a consumer survey that sounds very much like Rockstar testing the waters for how people would react to certain features. None of these are confirmed, and there isn't even a confirmed connection to Rockstar. But the tone of the game being hinted at sounds very GTA. Given that the Grand Theft Auto games were originally top down 2D games with modest production values, Chinatown Wars sounds like a return to form for the developer.

The link to Destructoid is broken. I think Hugh Hefner might be involved.
