If you don't have Rock Band 1 and you're holding out for Rock Band 2, you might have to hold out for an extra month. The original release date for the Xbox 360 version of the full game was September 14th. On the day, you should have been able to pick up the $200 bundle with a guitar, mic, drum set, and game disc. Unfortunately, that bundle seems to be delayed until October 19th, which is when the game is set to arrive for Playstations and Wiis. So if you don't already have your own instruments and you're dead-set on playing as soon as you can – and who wouldn't be? – you'll have to buy all the components individually for a total price of $250.
Of course, if you've already got Rock Band and you're just in it for the new songs, the new campaign mode, and the new online features, then you can still just pick up the disc exactly one month from today. That's 31 days. Or 744 hours, give or take whether you go by before or after work. Or maybe even a little fewer if there are midnight sales the night before. But who's counting?
