Things are going to get a whole lot darker with the upcoming fan pack for Rainbow Six Vegas 2.

There are three maps included in the free DLC: Murdertown – Dark, CQB Training – Dark and best of all the much-requested fan favourite Calypso Casino! The three map layouts have not been changed. The re-lit “Dark maps” have a very eerie atmosphere, and may require players to use night vision to spot enemies.

Night vision in shooters is usually just a gimmick for single player levels. As someone who used to appreciate the rare flight sim brave enough to black out the entire world at night, it's a welcome change of pace to see a shooter taking a chance on limited visibility.
