Funny [sic] videogaming video shows are a dime a dozen, which is a reference not just to their ubiquity but their approximate value. And that's being generous. But wade through enough of them, and sooner or later you'll find something that isn't terrible.
Former Monolith CEO Jason Hall is plugging away at his own take on funny videogaming video shows, mostly successful because he's such a good-natured guy. In his eighth episode, he hits paydirt by getting anti-videogame violence crusader Jack Thompson into a Play n' Trade for a chat. Thompson demonstrates that if the whole lawyer thing falls through – a very real possibility given his recent legal troubles – he could go into the whole comedy thing.
Check out Thompson's delivery of "don't disagree or it's just going to get hotter for you down there". He's got crackerjack timing after Hall's "I'm going to be honest" lead-in, and he can even work with kids. It makes for four minutes of actually funny videogaming video show, followed by four minutes of leering at the ass of Vida Guerra, "international superstar, model, actress, generally famous person".

I just finished watching that and, midway through, I actually laughed aloud. And then I did it again. I was so confused.
Jason Hall is doing a pretty good job with the show.

Is it just me or does Jack Thompson sound EXACTLY LIKE JOHN MCCAIN!?

Yeah, Thompson was pretty funny there. Makes me wonder how much of the stuff he does is purely to get attention.
